Evergreen State College planned to conduct research to help guide future marketing efforts. To ensure the research would be of maximum value, they hired the Discovery Collaborative to help facilitate their RFP development process.
The Discovery Collaborative first audited Evergreen's marketing communications and all existing research and then led a half-day Discovery Workshop for Evergreen's integrated marketing team members. This process enabled the team to glean all relevant insights from previous research, understand needs and expectations of key internal audiences and refine the objectives of future research.
Clarifying research goals and objectives was crucial to garnering support among key internal audiences for the research, as well as for potential resulting institutional branding decisions.
